Rationale

The HPC Chair is a R&D infrastructure (based at the University of Évora) sponsored by Hewlett Packard Enterprise and involving a consortium of six higher education institutions, three research centres, a CoLab, eleven enterprises, and public/private organisations.

The participation in the Square Kilometre Array through the ENGAGE SKA is a major enterprise by the HPC Chair. In this session we commemorate the 3 years of research in this field by bringing together well known international scholars to discuss the present and future challenges facing the SKAO.
